Just Getting Started

Im new to blogging so bare with me!

I am learning that I love social media and what it can do for the creative mind. All the fun instagram pages that I follow all have a website. Im not selling products or services, so a website would be a bit much. I also have a full time job and don't have the patience to create or maintain a website. 

I am also not a writer, so this whole blogging concept scares me. Gotta start somewhere though right?! I guess I will tell you about myself, or at least why I started this blog. I use to travel with Disney On Ice as a figure skater for almost 10 years. Every week I would stay in a different hotel. Some of my views were amazing and others were of a parking lot, dumpster, or better yet, a wall! I started taking photos of my view the first day I got there and learned how fun it was! I then started taking photos of the windows of coffee shops and bars I went to. I was very lucky to travel as much as I did. 

Fast forward 2020, Covid! All entertainment industries came to a complete stop. I was sent home and did not know when I would return. I was lucky enough to get a job during covid and decided this was a sign for me to think about my next chapter in life. Sadly my window photos came to a complete stop too. I post every so often if I was a cool restaurant or coffee shop, but that wasn't much with nothing open. 

Jump to 2023 I moved to Texas and work from home! I cant exactly take a photo of my living room window every day. I also live in a small town, I can only take photos of each business for so long. 

Well there you have it! I am new to blogging and am trying to be more active with my instagram postings. I hope I don't bore you too much!
